2015 PBL courses Networking Reception was held.

The Networking Reception for the PBL participants in AY2015 was held on July 13 (Mon) at the Cafeteria-Annex of AIU.

42 students and faculty members of Oregon State University, Dickinson College, the University of Oregon, the University of California-Berkeley and Akita International University joined the reception.

Dr. Yoshitaka Kumagai, Dean of International Collaboration, delivered the opening speech and introduced students and faculty members of each PBL course. The students made brief presentations on each PBL course, introducing their topics and work.

The students introduced their research outcomes passionately and showed no sign of fatigue from their four to six weeks of tight-scheduled activities in the United States and Japan.

Dr. John Bliss of Oregon State University, who supported AIU’s PBL program from its early stage, gave a closing address and congratulated students and faculty for their hard works.

AIU will hold a symposium on October 23 (Fri) to present the result of AIU’s international collaborative project referring to today’s presentation and information exchange among faculty members.
