The final presentations in GSP391: Disaster and Crisis Management were delivered at the University of Utah on July 4th.
After completing the first portion of the course in Japan from May 19th till June 6th, the students relocated to the University of Utah in the U.S. and took the second portion of the course from June 16th till July 4th. In Salt Lake City, the students visited disaster prevention facilities, performed comparative analyses of what they had learned in Japan and the U.S., and gave presentations on their recommendable plans concerning the subject of disaster and crisis management in groups.
Dr. Mark Williams, Vice President of AIU also traveled to the U.S. to partake in the students’ final presentation.
We would like to express our deep gratitude once again to the hosts of our fieldtrips, who supported us and made the operation of this course possible.
