The briefing session on INT341: Local Contribution of Universities in Japan and the U.S., was held on July 17 (Fri), 2015.
The intensive short-term PBL course, which lasted four weeks, had its initial start at the University of Oregon on June 22 (Mon) for the two-week-long U.S. session and then switched its location to Japan for another two-weeks. Throughout the course, the students studied about the history and social background of the University of Oregon and Akita International University, and searched for the contributions that both universities have been working on and future possibilities.
The students presented their findings in groups to the audience at the AIU Lecture Hall. AIU faculty and staff members questioned the students after the presentations, and they exchanged their thoughts and ideas actively.
