Foreign Language Conversation Support

AIU students can improve their foreign language conversation practice* by arranging meetings with a native speaker. This service is free of charge.
*Available languages: Chinese, English, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish, etc.

Workshop/Events

Throughout the year, the LDIC organizes various events to improve language skills and intercultural study. Events include self-directed English learning activities, skills workshops by Faculty, and guest speaker events.

Infinity Room

Picture of Infinity Room

Under the university’s concept of Applied International Liberal Arts, students deepen their cross-disciplinary studies in various academic fields, from humanities to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). That said, it is also true that some students are weaker in mathematics and other science-related subjects.

This Infinity Room is an experimental space where students can come and go as they please, both in person and online, to “experience” and enjoy mathematics. This playful space satisfies students’ curiosity, inviting them to use mathematics as a gateway to STEM subjects and to enhance and balance their liberal arts education.
