Farewell to Tamkang University Student! (Winter Program 2019)

Seventeen students from Tamkang University left AIU after staying with us for ten days for intensive Japanese Language Program. During their stay, they visited Lake Tazawa and Kakunodate, famous for its preserved remnants of Samurai civilization and Oga to learn the indigenous culture of the area.

On the last day, they gave presentations in Japanese, and their significant progress after such a short stay always surprises us. Thank you, Tamkang University students, for joining the program!

Lake Tazawa, the deepest lake in Japan, has a legendary tale of a woman turned into a dragon by indulging her own beauty.

Enjoying a meal at the local diner.
