Update of AIU’s COVID-19 Infection Risk Reduction Guidelines and BCP Level

AIU has updated its “COVID-19 Infection Risk Reduction Guidelines”. All students, faculty and staff members are asked to refer to these guidelines and act accordingly in order to ensure risk reduction for a safe and healthy campus environment.

Additionally, AIU decided to lower the university’s infection risk Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to Level a at the COVID-19 Emergency Headquarters meeting held on Friday, March 25.

Although the university has lowered its BCP level, it is still necessary to practice thorough infection risk prevention countermeasures as described in the Guidelines and university announcements, including wearing masks and avoiding the 3Cs.

Additionally, for the foreseeable future, use of university facilities (including the library, cafeteria and College Café) will remain closed to the general public. We would like to humbly ask for your continued understanding and cooperation.
