Travel Arrangements to Akita

Please make your own international and domestic flight reservations. You will need to get to Akita Airport or JR Akita Station on your own. AIU will provide pickup service, free of charge, from Akita Airport (Arrival Gate) and JR Akita Station (at the Bus Station in front of the East Exit) to the AIU campus, but only at the scheduled times on the check-in day. Free Pick-up Bus Information

Admitted students are required to submit an Arrival Form to the Online Application System. Details of the Pick-up Bus will be notified to the students by email.

If your flight, etc., is delayed and you arrive in Akita after the last pick-up bus, you will have to get to the campus on your own, using taxi, train, and/or the local bus.
